Cinnamon Apples

I don't know if anyone else is doing this, but heating cinnamon apples in a feast bowl makes for far less clean up at the end of the night. In order to get the cinnamon apples hot enough to serve, we found that they were running out of the boat and messy situation in the microwave (which caramelized by the end of the night and became ridiculously hard to clean up). Let me know if anyone has a cleaner or better idea for handling these sticky jewels.
